James Weldon Wallace

JAMES W. WALLACE STAUNTON, VA James Weldon Wallace, 55, of Staunton died Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at his residence. He was born April 29, 1956, a son of the late Sarah Leigh (Nichols) Wallace and Joseph L. Wallace, Jr., of Staunton. He was a graduate of Hampden-Sydney and received a MBA at William and Mary. Mr. Wallace was a licensed Real Estate Appraiser/Consultant with MAI certification. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville. He was devoted to his family. He participated in track and football in college and continued to enjoy sports and athletics. He especially liked biking, kayaking, golfing, hunting, music, and reading. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Jo Wallace. In addition to his father, family members include a son, Forrest Lee Wallace of Bedford and is currently serving in Afghanistan; a sister, Linda W. McDearmon of Staunton; a nephew, Chad McDearmon; and a great niece, Bre McDearmon. At his request, all services will be private.
