JANE S. CAMPBELL STAUNTON, VA Jane Ellen (Sprouse) Campbell, 80, wife of Albert S. Campbell, of 437 Betsy Bell Road, Apt. G2, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 27, 2013, surrounded by her family at Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born October 22, 1933 in Goshen, a daughter of the late Summerfeal and Molly Wine Sprouse. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Campbell was a school cafeteria worker. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She loved to sew, cook, and go to yard sales. She was a good Christian lady who studied the Bible and enjoyed going to church. She loved spending time with her family, especially during all holidays. In addition to her husband, to whom she wed on April 1, 1955, family members include two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Mike Freeman and Wanda and Donald Grogg; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mike and Debbie Campbell and Timmy Campbell; a very special and loving brother, Jesse Sprouse; four sisters, Mary Lou Coffman, Betty Henningher, Phyllis Arey, and Thelma Cash; and grandchildren, Cory Bowden, Sr. and children, CJ and Summer;, Tammy Liptrap and husband, Dean, and children, Austin and Gracie, Kathy Grogg and special friend, Jessica Carter, and daughter, Savannah Grogg, April Carter and husband, Jason, and children, Jacob and Rachael, Mike Campbell, Jr., and children, Eli, Gabe, and Colten; Jason Campbell and wife, Brittney, D.J. Whitlock and wife, Lynzey, and children, Cole, Kevin, David, and Tyler Whitlock, Timmy Campbell and children, Alex and Ethan Campbell, Matthew Bennett, and daughter; Timmy Campbell, Jr.and children, Isaac and Josh, Bruce Whitlock, Matthew Bennett and daughter, Alex Campbell, and Ethan Campbell. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Whitlock, a son, Bruce Campbell; a grandson, Kevin Whitlock; four brothers, Leonard Sprouse, Russell Sprouse, Marvin Sprouse, and Roy Sprouse; and a special aunt, Cora Spouse. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2013, in Peoples Baptist Church in Craigsville by the Revs. Claude Williams and David Smith. Burial will follow in Little River Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her son-in-law, Donald Grogg and her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2013, in the Henry Funeral Home and other times at the residence, or the home of Barbara and Mike Freeman.
