JASON D. DERFLER STAUNTON, VA Jason Daniel Derfler, 36, of 398 Eagle Rock Lane, died September 25, 2015. He was born March 8, 1979, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a son of Martin Don Derfler and the late Sandra Lee (Schleicher) Derfler. Jason was very talented and loved to fix things no matter what they were. He had a heart to help people, but especially loved his children, nieces, nephews, and his entire family. He attended Bethany Lutheran Church. In addition to his father, family members include his children, Alexis, Jackson, and Ava Derfler; a brother and sister-in-law, Lee E. and Tanya Derfler; and nieces and nephews, Kayce, Lee, Jr., Nadia, Hunter, Hannah, and Mason. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church by the Rev. Timothy P. Bohlmann. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 in the Henry Funeral Home.
