Jean Daniel

JEAN A. DANIEL STAUNTON, VA Jean A. Daniel, 79, formerly of Parkwood Apartments, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013, in King's Daughters' Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born July 29, 1934, in Goshen, a daughter of the late Robert Angus and Rose Kelly (Buchanan) Lockhart. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Daniel was employed by Western State Hospital. Jean is survived by her twin Sister, Joan Stump and husband, Gene, of Apalla, Pennsylvania; a son, Douglas Howard of Staunton; a grandson, Stephen Howard of Staunton; a great grandson, Xavier Howard; and extended family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Angus, Jr.; and a sister, Roberta "Billie" Trempus. At her request, she was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013,in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Russell Heinrich. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
