Jean Mckay

Jean (Fauver) McKay, 81, widow of Jesse A. "Jack" Mckay, of Staunton, died Thursday, August 30, 2012 in Emeritus at Staunton. She was born May 19, 1931 in Middlebrook, the daughter of J. Carl "Tom" and Nina (Hanger) Fauver. Mrs. McKay was a graduate of Dunsmore Business College and was employed by W. J. Perry Insurance for over forty years. She was a faithful member of the Greenville United Methodist Church where she was active in the Older Adult Ministry and served as a Greeter. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 15, 2000. Family includes cousins Jacqueline Duke and Eddie Berry and his wife, Jeanette. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2012 in the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Rev Kevin W. Haynes. A memorial service will follow at noon in Greenville United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2012 in the Henry Funeral Home.
