Jeffrey L. Cason

JEFFREY L. CASON STAUNTON, VA Jeffrey L. Cason, 45, of 507 Houston Street, passed away at home, Friday, August 9, 2013. He graduated from Fort Defiance High School in 1985, and was formerly employed by Kroger in Waynesboro for 18 years. He enjoyed his garden and took pleasure in sharing his produce with others. Jeff loved being outdoors in the mountains, hunting and fishing, and watching retro TV. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin and Goldie Alexander and Dick and Hazel Cason, and a cousin, Ricky Alexander. Jeff is survived by his son, Matthew D. Cason; his parents, Walter and Jo Ann Cason; his brother, Greg Cason and his family; his sister, Pamela Sheaffer and her family; his uncle and aunt, Roger and Donna Alexander; and his cousin, Deana Griffin. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the caring people who helped Jeff through his everyday life, especially his friends, Dot Chittum, Jerry Spotlow, and William Rankin and his family. Jeff, we love you so much. You will be sorely missed and live on in our hearts forever. Burial will be private. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
