JEFFREY A. ROSE WAYNESBORO, VA Jeffrey Alan Rose, 54, of 22 Thompson Street, now residing at 926 Winchester Road, Waynesboro, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 22 Thompson Street, Staunton. He was born November 4, 1959, in Waynesboro, to the late Alfred Odell and Faye (Jones) Rose. He was a devoted member of Promiseland Baptist Church, where he sang in the Men's Choir. He was employed by Augusta Health Care with 38 years of service. He was also a member of Waynesboro Reserve Police Department for seven years. He was preceded in death by Alfred Odell Rose and Faye (Jones) Rose; a brother, William "Poddie" O. Rose. Jeff leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Pastor Elaine Rose of Waynesboro; three sons, William and Jeffrey Toye of Kentucky, and Brandon Rose of Waynesboro; a granddaughter, McKenzie Wilson; two God daughters, Davelle Johnson and Shantell Bates; two God granddaughters, Daviyah and Dasiyah Johnson; mother-in-law, Margaret Toye; three uncles, John Rose, Jr., and wife, Ann, of Waynesboro, Sterling Gray, Jr., and wife, Pat, of Waynesboro, and Kenneth Price of Harrisonburg; two aunts, Grace Moultrie of Staunton, Margaret Jackson and husband, Leslie, of Charlottesville, three great aunts, Jean Fuller and husband, Frank, Helen Lewis, and Pearlie Mae Turner of Shipman; a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, and three devoted friends, Earl Brown and David Kier, both of Staunton, and Tom Riley of Churchville. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Gene Arey. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and also at the residence, 926 Winchester Road, Waynesboro.
