Jerry Donald Bass

JERRY D. BASS WAYNESBORO, VA… Jerry Donald Bass, 76, husband of Margaret (Lemay) Bass, of 29 Lockheed Blvd., died Friday, October 14, 2016, at his residence. He was born January 16, 1940 in Seattle, Washington, a son of the late Walter Donald and Virginia Edith (McBreen) Bass. Prior to retirement, Mr. Bass was employed by Otis Elevators. In addition to his wife, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Brian Wesley and Natalie Bass of Morrisville, North Carolina; a daughter and son-in-law, Michele Marie and Wolter Geesink of Linden, California; a sister and brother-in-law, Joni and Peter Haughey of Denver, Colorado; and two grandchildren, Race Geesink and Ean Bass. He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at a later date. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
