Jessie Allen Armentrout

JESSIE A. ARMENTROUT FISHERSVILLE, VA Jessie Allen Armentrout, 79, of Staunton, died Tuesday, May 2, 2012, in Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born December 4, 1932, in Covington, a son of the late James William and Emma S. Armentrout. Prior to retirement, Mr. Armentrout "Cathead" was employed by DuPont with 24 years of service. He was a member of the Staunton Moose. Family members include a brother, Jack Armentrout of Staunton; a sister, Lula E. Brown; a number of nieces and nephews; and his caretakers, Danny and Lynne Morris, Kenny and Brenda Armentrout, and Donna Ergenbright. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby W. Armentrout and David Lyle Armentrout; and two sisters, Janutia Hoke and Lucille Sims. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Russell Heinrich. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Covington. Honorary pallbearers will be his co-workers at DuPont and family and friends attending the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
