JO ANN H. INGRAM STUARTS DRAFT, VA Jo Ann (Howdyshell) Ingram, 76, widow of Herman Guy "Pete" Ingram, of Stuarts Draft, died Friday, April 11, 2014, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born April 9, 1938, in Augusta County, a daughter of the late George Burton and Mary Edna (McCray) Howdyshell. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Ingram was employed by Fiberspun. Family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Debbie Ingram of Staunton and Kenneth and Linda Ingram of Greenville; a daughter, Mary Jo Ingram of Stuarts Draft; three grandchildren, Crystal Ingram and partner, Daniel Thompson, Louie Ingram and wife, Mandi, and Justin Ingram and fiancée, Nicole Southers; two great grandchildren, Tyler Thompson and Jackson Ingram; two sisters, Doris Jean Foster of Staunton and Sandra Houff and husband, Burt, of Mt. Sidney; two special nephews, Wayne and Gary Puffenbarger; a brother-in-law and wife, Bob and Yvonne Ingram of Wisconsin; a sister-in-law, Edith Howdyshell; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Howdyshell and Charles Howdyshell; and two sisters, Edna Hunter and Ruby Puffenbarger. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by Pastor Jay Howdyshell. All services will be private. The family would like to thank Dr. Donald Lee, Davita Dialysis, Crystal and Jai Robinson, Amy Goodman, Hillary Pence, Vanessa Morris, Sheila Luchard, Porcha Costello, and a special thanks to all the people who helped with mom during her time of need.
