Jo Anne Virginia Berg

JO ANNE R. BERG STAUNTON, VA Jo Anne Virginia (Richardson) Berg, 66, of Staunton, VA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at her residence. She was born on June 29, 1948 in Staunton, a daughter of the late Charles E. and Isabelle (Beagle) Richardson. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph P. Berg. She is survived by siblings Charles Richardson II (wife Barbara) of Staunton, Mary Coyner (husband Frankie) of Waynesboro and Gregory Richardson (wife Lewana) of Roanoke; nephews Andrew Richardson of Staunton, Will Coyner of San Carlos, CA and Tine Richardson of Louisville, KY; and nieces Margaret Richardson of Richmond and Jo Walling of Waynesboro. Jo Anne was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and friend. She was a long-time volunteer and board member for Hospice of the Shenandoah. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m., Sunday, April 26, at Henry Funeral Home, Staunton. A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 27, at St. John's United Methodist Church, N. Augusta St., Staunton by the Rev. Taylor Mertins.
