Jody Lee Altizer, Sr.

Stuarts Draft, VA Jody Lee Altizer, Sr, 52, husband of Elizabeth Altizer, of 922 Cold Springs Road, Apt. 1, Stuarts Draft, died Friday, June 14, 2013 at UVA Medical Center. He was born on August 16, 1960 in Staunton, the son of Betty Jane (Ingram) Altizer and the late Elden Garnet Altizer. In addition to his wife and mother, surviving family members include a son, Jody Lee Altizer, Jr. of Waynesboro; a daughter, Rose Hottinger and her husband, Gary Hottinger Jr., of Harrisonburg; a step-son, Jonathan Wayne Trayer of Stuarts Draft; a step-daughter, Rebecca Woodzell of Staunton; a grandson, Gary W. Hottinger, III; two step grandchildren, Kristen Dawn Crawford, and her husband, Donnie, and Justin Kyle; a step-great grandson, Hunter Wayne Crawford; and a sister, Linda Holmes of Waynesboro Friends and family will gather at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at his residence.
