JOHN W. BOTKIN, JR. STAUNTON, VA John William Botkin, Jr., 64, of 44 Rocky Hill Lane, died Thursday, January 2, 2014, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. He was born September 20, 1949, in Staunton, a son of the late John William, Sr., and Pauline Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) Harshbarger Botkin. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by a good friend, Russell Woolridge. A brief memorial service will be conducted at 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2014, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Russell Heinrich. Interment will be private. Friends may gather from 7 until 7:45 p.m. before the service in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
