JOHN “JACK” LANSING BRADLEY   STAUNTON, VA… John Bradley, age 84, of 1804 North Drive, Staunton, VA, passed away Sunday morning, October 1, 2017 at his home.Jack was born on March 9, 1933 in New Castle, PA, a son of the late Harold Raymond and Virginia (Emery) Bradley. He was preceded in death by a sister, Suzanne Kotchish. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 63 years, Delores Bradley; four daughters: Debra Norville of Blowing Rock, NC, Kimberly Bradley of Staunton, VA, Jackie Sereno of Naples, FL, and Susan Bradley of Staunton, VA; six grandchildren: Crystal Lyle, Bradley Lyle, Taylor Butler, Chelsea Fridley, Emery Sereno, and Sarah Fridley; one great granddaughter, Lux Annaleigh Thompson. He was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne in 1952, then later served in the Marine Corps Reserve. Jack discovered his passion in the lumber industry where he was a manager for Moore’s Building Supplies for numerous years, then later in contractor sales at Lowe’s of Staunton. He enjoyed wood working and spending time in his garden. He loved being with people and getting a good laugh from his jokes, listening to country music, playing his guitar and piano, but mostly he loved his family and had a “heart of gold.” There will be a viewing for family and friends at Henry Funeral Home on Thursday, October 5th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be private on Friday, October 6th at Thornrose Cemetery.
