JOHN F. KELLEY FISHERSVILLE, VA John Francis Kelley, 62, husband of Jeanette Hise Kelley, of Fishersville died Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Augusta Health in Fishersville after a courageous challenge of three weeks. He was born October 13, 1952, in Washington, DC, the son of Russell William and Mary Elizabeth (Greenwell) Kelley. John was a retired employee of Augusta Cooperative Farm Bureau with 39 years of service. He enjoyed taking small day trips with his wife, Jean, and meeting friends at Kathy's. He was also a patient at Staunton Davita since February 2009. In addition to his wife, family members include a brother, James William Kelley and Rita of Weyers Cave; two sisters, Shirley Theresa Kelley Marshall and Michael of Stuarts Draft and Norma Jean Kelley Cranford and Charles, of Midlothian; a half sister, Mary Catherine Hayes Tayman of Huntingtontown, MD; a half brother, Thomas Hayes of Maryland; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Denise Hise'Brown of Texas. He was preceded in death by a half brother, Joseph Hayes and his beloved pet, Dusty. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Justin Roadcap. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Lutheran Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Robert Hise, Richard Morris, Charles Cranford, Michael Jeremiah and Matthew Marshall. Honorary pallbearers will be friends from Kathy's Restaurant. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in the funeral home. Jean extends her heartfelt appreciation for the loving care given to John by the ICU Staff at Augusta Health.
