John-James Augustine Gula

JOHN-JAMES A. GULA STAUNTON, VA John-James Augustine Gula, 63, of 26 Dover Street, passed away peacefully after giving in to pneumonia and an aggressive cancer on Monday, May 14, 2012, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. He was born October 21, 1948, in Newport News, a son of the late Stanley E. and Patricia A. (Conniff) Gula. Mr. Gula was employed by J.M.U. in the finance office. Family members include a brother, Stanley Gula of Staunton; and a sister and brother-in-law, Patti and James Moore of Yorktown. The family of John would like to acknowledge the Staunton Police Department and the Staunton Augusta Rescue Squad for their rapid response and deep felt compassion for our brother. There will be no public viewing or services. Memorials may be made to the Staunton Augusta Rescue Squad, 1601 North Coalter Street, Staunton, VA 24401. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
