Joyce Ramona Fravel

JOYCE T. FRAVEL STAUNTON, VA Joyce Ramona (Thomas) Fravel, 83, passed away on June 22, 2013. She was born May 12, 1930, in Greenville, a daughter of the late James Thomas and Malinda Thomas Davis. Family members include her husband of 60 years, Lt. Col. Frank Fravel; two daughters, Rhoene Huffman and Kathy Fravel Mason; a brother, Jim Thomas; and a granddaughter, Sara Mason. Joyce was known for her impeccable taste in fashion and love of shopping with her family. Once an employee of Leggett's Department Store as a young woman, Joyce developed a wordly style as an officer's wife. Joyce was known and loved by many friends in our community. A funeral service service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 25. 2013, in Old Providence ARP Church by the Rev. H. Max Bolin. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
