Juanita Belle Dunlap

JUANITA A. DUNLAP STAUNTON, VA Juanita Belle (Armstrong) Dunlap, 82, widow of Roy Dunlap, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. She was born January 8, 1930 in Doe Hill, a daughter of the late Mary (Armstrong) Botkin. She was raised by her grandmother, Gertie Armstrong of Doe Hill. Mrs. Dunlap was a graduate of McDowell High School in 1948. She was a member of Fairview Church of the Brethren and attended Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo McQuain; two brothers, Bobby Armstrong and Sonny Botkin; and a sister, Genevieve Fennel. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Lisa Dunlap of Mt. Crawford; a sister and brother-in-law, Avanelle and Ray McDorman of Staunton; and three grandchildren, Wesley, Chase, and Kinsey. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2012 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Revs. Tim Frost and Joe Slater. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2012, in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Mercy Fund, 32 S.
