STEELES TAVERN –             Judith “Judy” (Snyder) Smiley, 69, widow of Joseph Daniel Smiley, died at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2016 in Augusta Health.             She was born November 1, 1946 in Staunton, daughter of Shelly Kelly and Stella Louise Snyder.             Judy was a Certified Nursing Assistant before retiring.            She was a member of Old Providence ARP Church.             Family includes her daughters and sons-in-law, Maria S. and Robert Dzuba, Diahanna “Dedie” S. and Tony Redifer, and Ruby and Jeff Barnett all of Staunton; six grandchildren, Grace Dzuba, Rob Dzuba, Jonathan Redifer, Jamie Redifer, Sarah Barnett, and Kirk Barnett; two nieces, Cindy Lemons and Tammy Hostetter; and two cousins, Betty Margaret Lloyd and Jo Ann McClain.  She is also survived by many close friends, two of whom are Brenda Moneymaker and Martha Robinson.             A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. H. Max Bolin.  Interment will follow in Old Providence ARP Church Cemetery.             Active pallbearers will be her grandsons and sons-in-law.             The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in the funeral home and other times at the residence.             Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 USA             Sincere thanks to the staff at Hope and Hospice of Augusta, Dr. Hatter and Dr. Boyer, and caregivers, Rolando and Katie.             As Mom would say “Leave a little sparkle wherever you go.”  In honor of Mom, wear something sparkly to services.
