Judy Lane Altenburg

JUDY H. ALTENBURG STAUNTON, VA -- Judy (Hartless) Altenburg, 63, of 1131B Montgomery Avenue, Staunton, died Monday evening, December 12, 2011, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born February 27, 1948, in Staunton, a daughter of the late Paul Beckley and Russell Virginia (Kirtz) Hartless. Ms. Altenburg was employed by the Waffle Inn, Verona. Family includes a daughter, Abby Gail and her husband, Scott McDaniel; a sister, Joyce L. Brower; three grandchildren, Brandi and her fiance`, Allen Smith, Jonathon, and Jacob; and two great granddaughters, Peyten and Hanna. Judy was preceded in death by one sister, Jacqueline P. Harvey. The family will receive friends Friday, December 16, 2011, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Community Room at 1131B Montgomery Avenue. It was Judy's request that there be no formal ceremony.
