Julia Fitzgerald

STAUNTON, VA…. Julia (Moran) Fitzgerald, 92, widow of Stuart W. Fitzgerald, of Barterbrook Road, died Friday, February 26, 2016 at her residence. She was born on November 28, 1923 in Augusta County, the daughter of Frank Crist and Clara (Yago) Moran. Julia was employed by DuPont for 40 years, retiring in 1982. She is survived by a sister, Emma Carpenter and nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris Campbell and Jo Ellen Hollis; and her brothers, Frank, Hunter, Harold and Tommy Moran. The family will receive friends at her residence. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 29, 2016 in Thornrose Cemetery by Rev. Dennis Sites.
