CHURCHVILLE –

Jeffrey Stuart Crosby, 65, husband of Carolyn (Sharp) Crosby died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on April 8, 1955 in Staunton to Gladys Crosby and the late Raymond H. Crosby, Jr.

Mr. Crosby was co-owner of Crosby Trucking where he was employed since 1973. He was a 1973 graduate of Staunton Military Academy.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Brakke Crosby-Wells (Andrew); a stepson, Timothy Wimer (Kate); grandsons, Ryan Crosby (Ashley Caricofe), Collin and Nicholas Crosby; granddaughters, Trinity, Kimber and Olivia Wimer; a sister, Sandra Crosby; a brother, R. Hunter Crosby (Joyce); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may pay their respects at Henry Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2021.

A funeral service will be conducted at Jerusalem Chapel Church at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2021 by Pastor Denny Sites. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Eddie Wilhoit, Larry Flynn, Kris Michael, Kenny Wampler, Jonathan Berry and Hunter C. Crosby.

Honorary pallbearers will be all previous baseball players he has coached over the years.
