On Wednesday, January 13, 2021 Joseph Carlton Londeree, loving husband; father and step father passed away at the age of 95.
He was born on November 7, 1925 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Sarah Christine (White) and Walter A. Londeree, SR. He served in the Army Air Corp, during WW II; received a business degree from Lynchburg College and he worked for Niagara Blower Company as a sales Engineer.
Carlton had a passion for tennis; flying, as a private pilot; and a love for His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Like all of us, he was not perfect which was the reason that he, like all of us, needed a savior.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Archie D Londeree; Walter A Londeree, JR; Virginia Parker and Shirley Wilson Londeree as well as his first wife, Patricia Ricketts Londeree and youngest son, Keith Douglas Londeree.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Morral Londeree of 34 years; son Carlton Terrell Londeree; daughter Cynthia Londeree McCaskill (Bill); daughter in law, Nancy T Londeree; step children: Terri Gordon (Jeff); Becky Folks (Neil) and grandchildren: Kathrine Londeree Hurst; J. J. Londeree Gilliam; Phillip Lloyd Londeree; Joseph McCaskill; step grandchildren: Joel and Jason Londeree; Bradley and Daniel Gordon; Clint and Brandon Folks, as well as 9 great grandchildren.
Friends can pay their respects at Henry Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2021.
