    Joseph I. Webber Sr.

    October 7, 1953 - March 27, 2021

Joseph Irving Webber Sr., 67, of Staunton died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at his home with his family. He was born on October 7, 1953, in Meadville, PA, a son of the late Edith H. Caine Webber and Willard “Bill” W. Webber. Joe was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served 21 years. He was always known for his sense of humor, quick wit and ability to get the room laughing. Often you would find him working on a project as he always had to be busy. He would do anything he could to help those he cared about. Of course he would always say, “Don’t tell anyone I did something nice, it would ruin my reputation.” He loved his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren, dearly and will truly be missed. Surviving family members include his son Joseph I Webber Jr. of Staunton, his wife, Elaine Webber, and his grandchildren Isabel, Lani and Nechemya, his brothers, Will and John Webber, sisters Peggy Westfall and Jane Baskins, and nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his sister Edith Webber and many beloved four legged children. The family will receive friends at Henry’s Funeral Home on Saturday, April 3rd, from 3:30 – 5:00pm. Friends who wish to share condolences and memories with the family may send them to www.henryfuneralhome.net.
