KENNETH A. COYNER GREENVILLE, VA Kenneth Alexander Coyner, 84, husband of Mary Knox Coyner, of 87 Indian Ridge Road, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 5, 2017 in Augusta Health, Fishersville. He was born November 5, 1933 in Staunton, a son of the late Herman Luther and Effie (Campbell) Coyner. Mr. Coyner was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korea.Prior to retirement, he was employed by DuPont with 35 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of 60 years, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Gail Coyner; three daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Denny Doyle, Darla and Gary Eavers, Gina and Jeff Henderson; 11 grandchildren, Chris, Jessica, Gary Lee, Heather, Travis, Megan, Amanda, Brian, Justin, Jeremy, and Morgan; 10 great grandchildren, Bryanna, Summer, Corrin, Sadie, Nolan, Kylie Grace, Tripp, Carter, Abigail, and Luna; and his beloved dog, Chloe.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Coyner Coiner; a son-in-law, Mark Kerby; a sister, Helen C. Eavers; a grandchild, Tasha Eavers; and a great grandchild, Christian Midgett. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Pastor Billy Coffey. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Henry Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
