Kenneth Lee Simmers

WAYNESBORO, VA… Kenneth Lee Simmers, 73, of Waynesboro, died Monday, May 16, 2016 at Augusta Health. He was born August 2, 1942, in Rockingham County, a son of the late C. Glyndon and Kathleen (Taylor) Simmers. Mr. Simmers was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by the City of Waynesboro and was a member of the Waynesboro Moose. Kenneth loved fishing and spent most of his time on the river.  He also enjoyed driving around. Family members include a son, Kevin Good of Waynesboro; two brothers, Carl Simmers of Waynesboro and Dennis W. Simmers of California; two sisters, Glenda Dewitt of Weyers Cave and Lavonne Cauthen of Texas; one granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no services at the request of Kenneth.
