Kathy Louise Hester
Kathy Louise Hester, 65, of Staunton passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at her residence.
She was born June 6, 1955, in Staunton a daughter of the late Charles William and Hazel Marie (Shelton) Hester.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Stella Mae Balser and Ina Virginia Bell.
Family members include a brother, Charles Dewayne Hester and his wife Betty of Shenandoah; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous cousins living in Virginia and Pennsylvania; two uncles, Ray Hester of Marion and Rodney Hester of Free Union; and an aunt, Peggy Johnson Clayton.
Kathy’s caretakers were her niece, Lisa Campbell, her great nephew, James Campbell, and a special thanks to all the workers from the Hospice of the Shenandoah.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 27, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Wayne Hills Baptist Church by Dr. Dennis H. Westover, 877 Ladd Road. Waynesboro, Va 22980.
Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Lisa Campbell, in c/o Peggy Clayton, P.O. Box 263, Crozet, VA 22932.
