Lacy Dean Buchanan

Lacy Dean Buchanan, 67, of Middlebrook died Saturday, January 23 at UVA Medical Center,  son of the late Frank L. and Annie Mae (Curry) Buchanan.  He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Susan Lynn Buchanan and sister, Mary Sue Cox. He is survived by his wife Kay Glover Buchanan and sons Greg and wife Ashley, Neal and wife Jenny, and Jeff and wife Amanda and four granddaughters Paige, Karley, Addison and Hallie.   He is survived by sister, Faye Taylor and husband Jim; sister, Ruth Buchanan and brother, Eddie and wife Kathleen.  Numerous nieces and nephews survive. He was a lifelong farmer and member of Old Providence ARP Church, Spottswood where he served as deacon and elder. A memorial service will be held at Old Providence Church, Spottswood on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 6 p.m.  with visitation to follow. The family will receive friends and family anytime at the residence, 821 Dutch Hollow Road, Middlebrook.
