LANORA G. GREGORY GREENVILLE, VA…Lanora Gail Gregory, 60, wife of Rocky Gregory of Greenville died Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Augusta Health. Mrs. Gregory was born on July 27, 1957, in Montebello to Mary Myrtle (Ramsey) Bryant and the late Glennwood Wilson. She was employed as a table worker at Hollister.  Lanora enjoyed quilting, camping, canning and gardening and she loved to fish.  She was a friend to everyone she met and had a big heart. In addition to her husband, surviving family members include: a daughter, Brenda Gail Martin; a son, Adam Wayne Gregory; a sister, Alice Doyle (Ricky); and in-laws, Stoney and Cindy Gregory, Ricky Lane Gregory, Wanda and Bobby Wheeler, Linda Thompson;  six grandchildren, Chloe, Ariana, Andrew, Jacob, Justin, and Jordan; niece, Amy Doyle; and numerous aunts and uncles. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Sue Gregory; a brother, Lewis Bryant; two sisters, Virginia Bryant and Ithera Ramsey; and in-laws, Calvin C. Gregory, Jr. and Velma Carroll. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 am on Friday, September 1, 2017 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Ball.  Burial will follow at Mt. Paran Baptist Church in Montebello. Active pallbearers are Matthew Gregory, Randy Mawyers, Larry Patterson, Justin Zimmerman, Joey Mooneyham, Richard Lawhorn, and Heather Bryant. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Henry Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to UVA Health Foundation, P.O. Box 400331, Charlottesville, VA 22904-4331.
