Larry Bird Rexrode

WAYNESBORO, VA During the early evening hours of March 16 our loved one, Larry Rexrode, left this earth to walk the fields of heaven with Luke. Born in Blue Grass, VA, Larry was the son of Ann Golladay and the late Gene Rexrode plus brother to Donnie Rexrode. In 1967 Larry married Anita Ramsey and together they have two children. The oldest is a son and hunting buddy, Casey, of Lake Tahoe, CA. Then his daughter, Kendell, who will forever be his little girl. Kendell also blessed her dad with the light of his life, his grandson, Cayden. In keeping with Larry's request, there will be no visitation or service. To honor Larry's memory, the family would like to ask you find the time to offer a care giver help or visit a sick or homebound person who would enjoy the company. These are small sacrifices that will mean so much. Our family would like to thank the second floor nurses at Augusta Health for making the final part of Larry's journey easier for him and bearable for us. Larry-Dad-Poppy, we love you very much and miss you already. Please continue to watch over us like you always have.
