LAURA JANE LARSEN  WAYNESBORO, VA…  Laura Jane Larsen, 37, of Waynesboro, died Thursday, August 9, 2018.  She was born October 22, 1980 in Manchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of Jonathan Kenneth and Susan LaPierre Larsen. There was nothing too small for her not to notice and she took pleasure in nourishing life in all its form. She loved music, reading, nature and the arts.  Laura Jane is survived by her life partner, J.B. Parker and his children, Vanessa and Elizabeth Parker, all of Waynesboro; special friend, Mary Fretwell; aunts, Kathryn Spieker of Florida, Jan English and Gayle Battersby both of New Hampshire; her second mom, Gail Scelza of Michigan; numerous cousins; and all those whose lives she touched. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 in the Henry Funeral Home, 1030 West Beverley Street, Staunton. Burial will be private at Duck Run Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will be announced.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wildlife Center of Virginia, P.O. Box 1557, Waynesboro, VA 22980. The family would like to encourage people to consider organ donation.
