LAURA B. SMILEY STAUNTON, VA Laura Virginia (Buchanan) Smiley, 77, widow of John H. Smiley, of 31 Woodlee Road, formerly of Buffalo Gap, died Monday, April 23, 2012, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born November 14 1934, in Augusta County. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Smiley was a self-employed beautician. Family members include numerous cousins. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012, in Miller Memorial Baptist Cemetery, by the Rev. Kemper Dean. Friends may pay their respects at Henry Funeral Home anytime. There will be no formal visitation. Memorials may be made to Miller Memorial Baptist Church, Augusta Springs, VA 24411. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
