Lawrence Lucian Scalio

LAWRENCE L. SCALIO  STAUNTON, VA… Lorenzo Luciano Scalio (Americanized name as Lawrence Lucian Scalio), 78, of Staunton, VA, crossed over on December 20th, 2016 and is now flying high and celebrating the holidays with friends, family and the love of his life of 53 years Julia Annette Scalio who had crossed over before him. Lawrence was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Mary Josephine Testa Scalio and William Alexander Scalio on September 11, 1938.  He married Julia Annette Tarasi on August 17, 1963 in Pittsburgh, PA. In addition to his wife and parents, Lorenzo was also preceded in death by a brother, William Michael Scalio and a daughter, Annette Marie Scalio Candler. Family members include a brother, Robert Rocco Scalio; grandchildren, Shannon A. Scalio and Juliet M. Scalio Booth; great grandchildren, Jack A. Rebholz, Christian J. Rexrode, and Gabriel Haven Booth; sister-in-law, Mary Tarasi Ploschenski; nieces and nephews-in-law, Maxine Anthony, Anna Ploschenski-Pullen, Harry Ploschenski, Michael Ploschenski and the late George Ploschenski; second niece-in-law, Amy Pullen and her daughter, Annalise Pullen; good friends, Alex Garofalo, John Pullen, and Mike Anthony. The family of Lawrence Scalio wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all who helped in caring for Mr. Scalio in the time before his passing. There will be no services.
