LESTER F. DIXON, II STAUNTON, VA Lester Floyd Dixon, II, 74, widower of Nancy Lee (Ingram) Dixon, of Staunton, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Augusta Health, Fishersville. He was born March 18, 1937, in Augusta County a son of the late Lester Floyd, I and Mabel Elizabeth (Fulwider) Dixon. Mr. Dixon was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Prior to retirement, he was employed by DuPont. Family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Jeff Wagner of Mt. Solon; a sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Richard Gordon of Ohio; and two grandchildren, Benjamin J. Wagner and Anna E. Wagner. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Ovid Need. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Lutheran Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Dennis Garber, Bill Garber, Lynwood Burnett, Ron Jones, Butch Clark, Henry Cason, Jack Connally, and George Luziack. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in the funeral home.
