LIBBY R. MANLEY STAUNTON, VA… Libby (Robinson) Manley, 87, widow of Charles S. Manley, Jr., of Staunton, went to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, April 29, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 2, 1928, in Bath County, a daughter of the late Lloyd Atlee and Virgie (Galyen) Robinson. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Manley was employed as a Deputy Clerk with the Augusta County Circuit Court, with over 40 years of service. She was a faithful member of the Staunton Church of the Brethren where she was also a member of the Senior Adults Group. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Wayne Perry; and a brother, Norman Robinson. Family members include a daughter, Dana Perry; three sisters, Lois Armstrong, Lina Keyser, and Coleen Wandless; a sister-in-law, Maxine Robinson; three grandchildren, Matthew Wayne and Tracey Pietron Perry of North Carolina, Diana Renee “Dee Dee” Perry of Staunton, and Michael Justin and Laura Botkin Perry of Staunton; five great grandchildren, Charles Wellington Perry, Nathan Matthew Perry, Alexis Grace Perry, Caroline Faith Perry, and Asher Wren Perry; and a sister-in-law Virginia Painter and husband Phillip. A memorial service will be conducted at 12 noon Monday, May 2, 2016, in the Staunton Church of the Brethren by the Pastor Scott Duffey. Burial will be private in Thornrose Cemetery.
