LILLIAN W. CASON STEELES TAVERN - Mrs. Lillian Eveline (White) Cason, 90, widow of Guy Roller Cason, died at 4:10 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 in Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born on August 17, 1922 in Cranberry, West Virginia, daughter of the late John Lee and Ada Laura (Phillips) White. She was a homemaker. Family includes her daughter and son-in-law, Annie Lora and Jerry Arehart of Steeles Tavern; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Joseph; two brothers, Norman and Franklin White; three sisters, Pearl Marie Bailey, Della Colley, and Pansy Gadomski; sister-in-law, Dorothy Cason; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ressie, Lloyd, and Earl White. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in Marlbrook Baptist Church in Raphine by Pastor Larry Wright and Rev. William Harris. Interment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the church prior to the service.
