Linda Marie Arehart

LINDA M. AREHART   STAUNTON, VA… Linda Marie Arehart, 64, of Eakle Road, died Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at her residence. She was born on June 26, 1952 in Staunton, the daughter of the late Oscar Lightner and Josephine (Troxell) Arehart. She was a member of Mt. Horeb Presbyterian Church. Family includes three sisters, Lucille Humphreys, Virginia Smiley, and Lillian Arehart, all of Staunton; and a large number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Oscar, Robert, and  Henry Arehart, and two infant sisters. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 in Mt. Horeb Presbyterian Church by Rev. Jonathan A. Ytterock.  Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Joseph Martin, Jeremy Martin, Franklin Humphreys, Dean Harlow, Carey Arehart, and Larry Vanlear The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m on Thursday evening in Henry Funeral Home. The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Kerry Alexander, Felita Sanchez, and the Staff of AH Hospice of the Shenandoah for the loving care given to Linda.
