Linda Elvira Campbell

LINDA H. CAMPBELL STAUNTON, VA Linda Elvira (Harris) Campbell, 64, widow of Morgan D. Campbell, of 806 Moore Street, died Saturday, February 25, 2012, at her residence. She was born February 1, 1948, in Staunton, a daughter of the late Harry H. and Juanita (Simmons) Harris. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Campbell was employed by Walmart. She was a member of Faith Christian Church. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, George H. Harris; and a sister, Betty L. Rowe. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Roger A. and Vicki Campbell of Staunton; a sister, Charl D. Wyant of Staunton; a granddaughter, Renee Lynn Campbell; a great grandchild, Makayla Darcus; and two special friends, Rodney Hurt and Junior McNeal. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 29, 2012, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Scott Bolt. Burial will be private.
