LINDA P. CLARK STAUNTON, VA…Linda Paulette Clark, 72, of Staunton, went to be with her heavenly Father Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Augusta Health. She was born September 12, 1945 in Staunton, a daughter of the late James Irving “Bill” and Mildred Virginia (Carper) Clark. Prior to retirement, Linda was employed by Western State Hospital as a risk management specialist with 23 years of service. She was also employed for 21 years by Smith’s Transfer. Linda was of the Brethren faith and loved Jesus. She was a loving caregiver to her family. Family members include a sister and brother-in-law, Wanda C. and Harry G. Boyers, II of Crimora; an uncle, David Clark of Staunton; three aunts, Barbara “Sissy” Tutwiler of Richmond, Betty Clark, and Doris Clark; nieces and nephew, Amy E. Boyers of Staunton, Harry J. Boyers and wife, Jody, of Staunton, and Alicia N. Brown and husband, Lawton, of Crimora; great niece and nephews, Kristopher Brown of Crimora, Harry Brandon Boyers of Staunton, Allyson Brown of Crimora, and Daniel James Boyers of Staunton; and a number of cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Janet W. Elsea. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Harry James Boyers, Brandon Boyers, Lawton Brown, Kristopher Brown, Skip Howdyshell, and Chris Hartless. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 in the funeral home and other times at Linda’s residence. Memorials may be made to the Augusta Regional SPCA, P.O. Box 2014, Staunton, VA 24402 or Cat’s Cradle, P.O. Box 2128, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
