Lisa Gregory Byram

LISA G. BYRAM STAUNTON, VA Lisa Gregory Byram, 50, of Staunton passed away Wednesday, May 7th, at her home surrounded by her daughters after a year-long battle with cancer. She was born on April 8th, 1964, in Staunton, a daughter of the late Harry Eugene "Monk" and Mary Hannah (Sprouse) Gregory. Lisa was a strong, loving and caring individual who touched every soul she encountered. She considered her greatest accomplishment to be her daughters and often spoke of them to anyone who would listen. She was working as a senior concierge at Brightview Baldwin Park, when she fell ill, and considered the employees and residents to be a second family. Lisa is survived by her three daughters: Hannah Byram of Staunton; Heather Byram and her fiancé Chris Craig of Fishersville; and Ashley Byram, also of Staunton. She is also survived by her sweet grandson, Peyton Craig, and two sisters: Teronda Overcash and her husband Frankie of Craigsville; Mary Siron of Harrisonburg. She is also survived by numerous nephews. The family being ever so thankful to so many would like to send a special thank you to her former in-laws Garner and Georgia Byram of Craigsville; Carol Craig of Fishersville; Cindy and Gary Lowe of Staunton; Debbie Prater of Staunton and Legacy Hospice. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday evening at Henry Funeral Home. Burial will be private. A Memorial Service will take place at Brightview Baldwin Park from 2 pm to 4 pm on Monday, May 12, 2014.
