LORA Q. TURNAGE SWOOPE, VA Lora Ann (Quesenberry) Turnage, 43, wife of Noah Parker Turnage, of 2312 Hewitt Road, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born March 31, 1969, in Radford, a daughter of David Earl and Bonnie Jo (McCraw) Quesenberry. Mrs. Turnage was a teacher in the Augusta County School System. She was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband and parents, family members include a daughter, Maryanna Caroline Turnage; a son, N. Parker Turnage, II both of the home; a brother and sister-in-law, Rob and Lora Lea Quesenberry of Draper; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank S. and Nancy Turnage of Fredericksburg; a brother-in-law, F. Wells Turnage and his wife, Ann-Marie of McLean; nieces and nephews, Gray and Erin Quesenberry, Gabor, Elizabeth, and Melina Turnage; and numerous cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012, in Hebron Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Frank Wyche and Rev. Dennis Sites. She will be buried beside her grandmother at Memorial Christian Church Cemetery in Draper Valley, VA. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, in Hebron Presbyterian Church. Memorials may be made to Hebron Youth Scholarship, 423 Hebron Road, Staunton, VA 24401.
