Louise Virginia (Johnson) Powers

STAUNTON, VA… Louise Virginia Johnson (Robinson, Furr) Powers, age 97, joined her son, Paul J. Robinson, daughter, Elizabeth R. Jackson, and grandson Richard Robinson Jr. on April 5, 2016.  She was born on October 30, 1918, daughter of William McKinley and Icy Sprouse Johnson. She is survived by her children, Richard L. Robinson (Charlotte), Carl W. Robinson, Carol R. Tanner, Patsy R. Sipe (Bill), Edward L. Robinson (Betty Jo), Gini Miller, and her daughter-in-law, Ruth E. Robinson. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 10 great, great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.  There will be no public viewing. Active pallbearers will be Jason Loan, Joey Miller, Brian McCormick, Derek McCormick, Terry Robinson, and Eddie Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
