Louise Maggie Patterson

LOUISE W. PATTERSON STAUNTON, VA Louise Maggie (Wolfe) Patterson, 73, wife of Glenn Patterson, of 547 Calvert Street, died Thursday, July 19, 2012, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born May 24, 1939, in Surry County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late John William and Huldah (Davis) Wolfe. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Patterson was employed by V.S.D.B. She was a member of First Baptist Church and S.V.C.D. In addition to her husband, family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Michele Patterson of Staunton and Baldwin Patterson and Bonnie Brickles of Bullock, NC; two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Robert Brown of Greenville and Sharon and Dennis Lambert of Swoope; a brother, J. W. Wolfe of North Carolina; a sister, Marie Atkins of North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 6 siblings. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, in First Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Steve Traylor. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bobby Brown, Gregory Brown, Michael Brown, Michael Garnett, Steven Brickles, Ray Ferrell, Shonnie Wolfe, and Freddy Willard. Honorary pallbearers will be all of her friends and family. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012, in the Henry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
