Louise Charlotte Talley

LOUISE B. TALLEY STAUNTON, VA Louise Charlotte (Bricca) Talley, 88, widow of Chester Winston Talley, Jr., and loving mother, of 102 Burnley Drive, died Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Augusta Health. She was born October 16, 1925, in Cannes, France, a daughter of the late Lorenzo and Maria Bricca. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Genesco for 20 years. Mrs. Talley was a member of First Baptist Church and the Agape Sunday School Class. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lauren Bricca; and two sisters, Argentine and Dina. Family members include a son, Clifton Thomas Talley of Fort Worth, TX; two daughters and a son-in-law, Elizabeth Talley of Staunton and Colette T. and William O. Turner of Marietta, GA; a brother, Joseph Bricca of Cannes, France; two grandchildren, Melissa Lynne Steele Burwell of Stuarts Draft and Andrew MacKay Turner of Marietta, GA; and a great granddaughter, Natalie Elizabeth Burwell of Stuarts Draft. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by the Rev. Dr. Steve Traylor. Active pallbearers will be Scott Burwell, Daniel Atkins, Frank Miller, Danny Pritchett, Andrew Turner, and William Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Agape Sunday School Class. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
