Lucille Hester Burt

LUCILLE R. BURT MT. SIDNEY, VA Lucille Hester (Roberts) Burt, 92, widow of Kenneth Melville Burt, of 85 Pottery Shop Lane, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at her residence. She was born August 22, 1922, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Francis Marion and Sarah Elizabeth (Roupe) Roberts, and was the last of 13 children. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Burt was employed by Western State Hospital with 27 years of service. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Andrew Burt; and a great grandchild, Skylar Fred Carr. She is survived by family members including a son, Kenneth Marshall Burt of Udon Thani, Thailand; a daughter, Helen Dianne Prine; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
