LINDA W. DIAZ   STAUNTON – Linda Lou (Wood) Diaz, 69, widow of Orlando Diaz Diaz, died at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday (August 3, 2019) at home.             She was born September 8, 1949 in St. Paul’s, North Carolina, daughter of the late Cyrus William, Jr. and Virginia Josephine (Perry) Wood.             Linda retired from Hershey after 25 years.             Family includes two daughters and a son-in-law, Debra and Gordon Strother and Tammy Corbin, all of Staunton; brother and sister-in-law, Cyrus William III and Tammy Wood of North Carolina; three sisters, Emily Joann Wood, Lela Rose McMillan, and Sylvia Ann Steinkopf and husband, Arnald, all of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Jonathan Corbin and fiance`, Kayla Richardson, Angel Davis and her husband, Jon, and Autumn Reeve; a great granddaughter, Raeleigh Corbin; and numerous nieces and nephews.             A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019 in Thornrose Cemetery.             The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening in Henry Funeral Home.             Condolences may be made to the family at www.henryfuneralhome.net .             Memorials may be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco, Texas 75034.
