Lori T. Huffman

Lori (Trineer) Huffman was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, November 21, 2021, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother, nanny, daughter, sister, and friend.

Lori was born to Allan and Joanna Trineer on November 27, 1959 in Hawksbury, Ontario. After high school graduation Lori held a variety of positions with the common theme of community service.

Her love of live and laughter was contagious. In her quiet time she enjoyed working in her flowers and sewing her beautiful quilts. She was a selfless woman who loved her Lord and savior, her family, friends, and extended church family deeply.

Lori is survived by her husband, Hunter Huffman; her mother, Joanna and stepfather, Reno Mauro of Burlington, Ontario; her three sons, David Carroll (Catherine) and grandson Jensen of Barrie Ontario, Mike Carroll (Lori) and grandson Patrick of Yukon, OK, and Alex Carrol of Ottawa; her two daughters, Jessica Midgett (Bryan) and granddaughters Bryanna and Summer of OBX, NC, and Rachel Huffman of Staunton.

She is preceded in death by her beloved Nanny, Hannah Thomas and beloved father, Allan Trineer.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with. Please join us and share your stories at her Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Community Fellowship Church, 19 South Market St, Staunton. Parking is available at the nearby parking garage. Lori lived her life in beautiful color, and it is requested that everyone attending dress accordingly. Hunter and family will receive visitors after the service.
