Louise C. Vecellio
Marie Louise (Cason) Vecellio, 86, widow of Franklin O. Vecellio, passed away the evening of September 13, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.
Louise was born on July 24, 1936 in Middlebrook to the late George Vernon and Frances Isabell (Lucas) Cason.
Prior to retiring, she worked as an Administrative Secretary for the Department of Social Services. She was a member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church in Staunton.
She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Fix and her husband, Phillip, of Staunton, and Paula Snyder and her husband, John, of Verona; her grandchildren, Amanda Fix of Staunton and Karla Colvin and her husband, Adam of Waynesboro; and her great-grandchildren, Alaina and Riley Colvin; a brother, James W. Cason of Middlebrook; a sister, Joyce Rosen and her husband, Jerry, of Stuarts Draft; and another brother, Larry Dale Cason, of Fishersville.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Samuel D. and George Thomas Cason and her sister, Carol C. Jones.

Per the wishes of the family, there will be no services. Burial will be private at a later date.
