Loyd Wilson Lucas, 95, husband of Doris Jean (Back) Lucas, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Augusta Health.
He was born on May 2, 1926 in Stanley to the late Ausby Lucas and Mary Susan (Cubbage) Lucas.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Donald Wilson Lucas, Brenda Seekford, Marie Madison, Thomas Fulmer, Terry, Raleigh and Laurie Ann; a sister, Hattie Short; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two children, Donald Wayne Lucas and Kim Fulmer; two brothers, Hoover and Berman Lucas; two sisters, Nievel Dingus and Mamie.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Friday, July 30, 2021 at Henry Funeral Home.
