Margaret Isabelle Cash

RAPHINE, VA Margaret Isabelle Cash, 90, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Blue Ridge Christian Home of Raphine. She was born December 15, 1924, in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Harry Hamilton and Gertrude Jane (Weeks) Cash. Prior to retirement, Ms. Cash was a secretary and bookkeeper. She also enjoyed perfecting her penmanship through calligraphy. Margaret is survived by her three nephews, Thad Painter, Erskine Cash and C.L. Cash; eight nieces, Jane Cash, Sheila Moneymaker, Judy Cempe, Juanita Funk, Wanda Ragland, Karleen Arehart, Lanny Price and Robin Carey; and special friends, Brenda Arehart, Alice Holden and Dot Patterson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Painter and Mollie Sorrells; two brothers, Tracy Hamilton and Charlie Cash; and a nephew, Jake Cash. A memorial service will be conducted at Old Providence ARP Church by Rev. Max Bolin on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. Family will receive friends following the service at the church. Burial will be private at Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Old Providence ARP Church, 1005 Spottswood Road, Spottswood, VA 24476 or Mt.
